Refund & Cancellation Policy
In short. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. If something goes wrong on our side, we will put it right. Consumers in the EU, UK, Canada and Australia have additional statutory rights, set out below.
1. What you are buying
InnovaBeam sells access to a cloud-based 3D CAD workspace as a subscription. Plans, prices and what each includes are shown on our pricing page. All prices are in US dollars (USD). Payment is processed by Stripe.
2. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually, as you chose — at the then-current price, until cancelled. We email you a receipt for each payment.
3. How to cancel
- Sign in and open the subscription section of your account.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect immediately in the sense that no further renewals will be charged. Unless you tell us otherwise, we do not claw back the period you have already paid for.
If you cannot access your account, email contact@innovabeam.com from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you.
4. Pausing instead of cancelling
If you don't need the workspace for a while, you can pause your subscription instead of cancelling it. Pausing:
- Stops billing — no further charges are taken while it is paused, and any invoice that would have been raised is voided rather than left owing;
- Keeps your plan and the price you signed up at, so resuming does not put you on a newer, higher price;
- Suspends access to paid features for the duration. Your account and your designs remain intact, but while paused you have free-tier access.
Resume at any time from the same screen and your plan returns immediately. Pause and resume are both available from your account's subscription section.
5. Changing plan mid-period
If you change plan part-way through a billing period, the change takes effect immediately and is prorated: you are credited for the unused remainder of your old plan, charged for the remainder of the period on the new plan, and the difference is taken at the time of the change. Your next invoice then returns to the normal amount for the new plan.
6. Refunds
Because access is granted immediately and billed in advance, we do not, as a general rule, refund the unused part of a period that has already started. The exceptions below are ones we apply as a matter of policy, in addition to your statutory rights in section 7.
We will refund you when:
- You were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a valid cancellation.
- The Service was materially unavailable or defective for a significant part of your billing period and we could not put it right.
- We materially reduce the core functionality of your paid plan, or discontinue the Service, during a period you have paid for — you receive a pro-rata refund of the unused portion.
- You were charged after your account was deleted or terminated by us.
- A design request included in your plan was not delivered and we cannot deliver it within a reasonable time.
We generally will not refund:
- Periods you simply did not use;
- A subscription cancelled part-way through a period you have already paid for, other than as required by law;
- Charges older than 120 days, unless the law requires otherwise.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Statutory rights
European Union, EEA and United Kingdom — 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of it starting, without giving a reason.
Digital services are an exception where you ask for supply to begin immediately: at checkout you agree that the Service starts straight away and acknowledge that you therefore lose the right of withdrawal once it has been fully performed. Where you have used the Service only partly during the 14 days, we will refund the proportion you have not used rather than refuse a refund altogether.
To withdraw, email contact@innovabeam.com with your account email and the words "I withdraw from my subscription". We will confirm and refund within 14 days of receiving it.
You also keep your rights where the Service is not as described or not of satisfactory quality, which are not affected by anything in this policy.
Australia
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure, you may cancel and obtain a refund of the unused portion, or seek compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have it remedied within a reasonable time, and if it is not, to cancel and obtain a refund of the unused portion.
Canada
If you are a consumer, you keep all rights under applicable federal and provincial consumer protection legislation, including in Quebec under the Consumer Protection Act. Where such legislation gives you a broader right to cancel or be refunded than this policy, that legislation applies.
United States
Some states give consumers additional rights in relation to automatically renewing subscriptions, including notice and simple cancellation. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the law of your state.
8. Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at contact@innovabeam.com. We can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and we would rather refund a genuine mistake than argue about it.
If you raise a chargeback, we may suspend the account while it is investigated, and we will provide the payment processor with our records of the transaction.
